To my printmaker friends. If any of you are thinking of spending some time in Spain and wanting to do some printmaking Art Print Residence is the place to go. An hour by train out of Barcelona in the town of Arenys de Munt. The studio is spacious, very well equipped with 3 etching presses, 1 of these being huge enabling one to work on large scale prints. Excellent etching plate making facilities and large exposure unit for Solarplates. Quiet and peaceful work areas. Jordi and Claudia are master printers and wonderful to work with. There is onsite accomodation that is very nice complete with stunning views.
All very affordable.
Printmakers from all over the world travel here to work so perhaps consider it too.
