Artist resident february 2022. During my time at the Art Print Residence I had the opportunity to leave my comfort zone and experiment with new techniques and approaches to printmaking. Creating a printing plate using leaves, and working with chine colle are among the skills I have taken away with me. Jodi provided expert guidance in making a copper plate etching and I was particularly pleased to learn about non-toxic materials.
The workshop is fully equipped with large size presses, printmaking materials, inks and papers. The location of the residence offers the opportunity for a relaxing stay and interesting places for walking.
