Ewa Jedrzejczyk — Poland

In March 2026, Ewa Jedrzejczyk, an artist from Poland, completed an artist residency at Art Print Residence, focusing on traditional intaglio printmaking and the creative possibilities of combining different techniques and papers.
During her stay, Ewa participated in an Intaglio Etching Workshop, led by Ariadna Abadal. Throughout the course, she explored the different stages of the etching process, from preparing and working on the plate to etching, inking and printing.
She also took part in a Chine Collé Workshop, also led by Ariadna Abadal, learning how to incorporate delicate papers into the intaglio printing process. This technique allowed her to experiment with colour, texture, transparency and the relationship between different types of paper and the printed image.
Her residency at Art Print Residence provided Ewa with an opportunity to deepen her knowledge of intaglio printmaking while exploring new ways of combining etching and chine collé within her own artistic practice.
