Þuríður Ósk Smáradóttir

Art Print Residence warmly welcomes Icelandic artist Þuríður Ósk Smáradóttir. This April 2026, she joins us for a residency in hard ground etching, a space to explore, experiment, and deepen her practice under the guidance of Jordi Rosés.

Gabriele Glang

Art Print Residence is delighted to welcome artist Gabriele Glang from Germany. Returning for his fourth residency, he is to develop his Mokuhanga project in our workshop.

Nefise Işıl Acar Sürmeli

Art Print Residence is pleased to welcome back our artist in residence, Nefise Işıl Acar Sürmeli, from Türkiye.

During her time with us, she will be working on etching and intaglio printmaking, developing her practice through the course.

We’re excited to have her back in the studio and look forward to sharing her process.

Innovations in Mokuhanga course

Art Print Residence is pleased to welcome a new group of artists: Lyndall McCulloch, Flora Fontenla, Roslyn Kean, Gemelle Madigan, Diane Frost, Annegret Reichmann, Urte von Maltzahn, Wendy Tokaryk, Gabriele Glang, and Colleen Premer.

Coming from Australia, the United States, Germany, Canada, and France, they join us for a residency as part of the Innovations in Mokuhanga course, led by Prof. Keiko Hara and Prof. Benjamin Selby, in April 2026.

A Mediterranean Residency Experience

We are launching a 2-week residency in collaboration with the Southern Graphic Council International (SGCI) for a small group of 4–8 artists.

The dates are August 2–14, 2026. Accommodation can be provided at the residency in either individual or shared bedrooms, especially if you book soon.

The residency includes:

  • Printmaking residency
  • 9 guided studio days
  • A full cultural day in Barcelona
  • An excursion to Cadaqués, Costa Brava
  • Exhibition at Taller Galeria Fort
  • Exchange Portfolio: Catalonia Colour’s Palette
