Welcome Back to Art Print Residence, Cornelia Leitner!
We are delighted to welcome Cornelia Leitner, an artist from Germany, who returns to Art Print Residence for her second artist residency with us!
It is always a special pleasure to welcome back artists who have already shared part of their creative journey with us.
During the coming weeks, Cornelia will be exploring two different printmaking techniques: Pronto Plate lithography and drypoint on acrylic (Plexiglas) plates.
Through Pronto Plate lithography, she will experiment with the possibilities of this contemporary, polyester plate-based lithographic process, while her work in drypoint will focus on the expressive qualities of engraved lines, marks and textures.
These two approaches will offer Cornelia an opportunity to explore different ways of creating and printing images, combining technical experimentation with her own artistic vision.
